Java Frinsa Estate is a specialty coffee project led by husband-and-wife team Wildan Mustofa and Atieq Mustikaningtyas in the highlands of West Java, Indonesia. Established in 2012, their mission grew out of a desire to combat environmental challenges like landslides and flooding caused by poor farming practices. Coffee was chosen as a sustainable crop that could restore the land while offering economic value. Today, the estate partners with local farmers, combining high-quality production with eco-conscious methods and community development. Wildan manages field operations while Atieq oversees finance and human resources, ensuring a holistic and ethical approach.
The estate emphasizes organic agriculture and traceability from seed to cup. Their coffees are known for consistency, clean processing, and vibrant tropical profiles. In the cup, you’ll experience a well-balanced mouthfeel with notes of papaya, guava, jackfruit, guji apple, and pomelo. The finish carries subtle hints of rose wine, adding a refined complexity. This coffee is ideal for those who appreciate fruity, layered cups with a clean and sustainable backstory.
